Acoustic Sound Healing
60 minutes to slow down and reconnect

Immerse yourself in a live acoustic soundscape created through gongs and resonant instruments. As sound fills the space, you're invited to release the pace of the day and settle into a state of deep rest.
Lying comfortably on your mattress, simply listen, feel and allow the experience to unfold. There's nothing to achieve and no prior meditation experience required.
Suitable for anyone seeking an accessible introduction to acoustic sound healing and restorative rest.

What is a sound session?
Everything you hear is played live, in the room, on acoustic instruments: gongs, singing bowls, chimes and drums. There is no recording and no playlist. Two sessions never sound the same.
Large gongs carry a lot of low frequency, so a sound session is as much felt as heard. Lying on the floor, you notice it in your chest and in the backs of your hands before you notice it as a note.
You are not an audience and you are not in a class. Nobody demonstrates anything and there is nothing to follow, repeat or get right. You lie down, you close your eyes if you want to, and the sound does the work.
Most people drift. Some fall asleep. Both are fine. Neither is the point, because there isn't one.
What happens in a Acoustic Sound Healing session
Arriving
Come 20 minutes before your session starts. You will be shown to the mattress you booked, leave your shoes and anything you are carrying, and have time to settle before anything begins.
Settling
The room quietens and the light comes down. There is no instruction. You lie back, get comfortable, and the first instruments start underneath the noise of the room rather than on top of it.
The sound
For most of the 60 minutes there is nothing to do at all. The instruments build, move around you and fall away again. You can lie on your back, curl up, shift position, or open your eyes and watch the ceiling. Nothing is asked of you.
Coming back
The sound thins out rather than stops. You are brought back slowly, and there is time to sit up, drink some water and leave at your own pace.
Your comfort and wellbeing
The Resting Room is designed as a shared space for uninterrupted rest.
